Lawn Mower

Jackson's love for automobiles, heavy equipment, etc. definitely carries over into a love for lawn mowers (and everything about mowing the lawn, quite frankly). He loves the trimming, blowing, etc.

We have someone come mow our lawn right now. When John comes home from work, we like to have him HOME, not outside doing more work! Although I think this will change soon...due to Jackson's LOVE for lawn mowing (and the man that mows our lawn:)). Here is Jackson watching Jordan mow. This is one of the highlights of his week! It sure makes my job easier! Jackson will go from window to window watching until the entire job is complete.

One of Jacksons favorite activities at Grandpa Sprungers is riding the lawn mower with him. Grandpa is soooo patient - they will drive around the house forever it seems! But Jackson LOVES it.

Swim Lessons

We took swim lessons this year at the same place and time as the Starr girls. It was really nice to catch up with them. The kids enjoyed the company as well as Allison and me! Abigail had a really successful year in swim lessons. She learned a ton and is a completely different swimmer. She can swim completely independent of floatation devices now which is exciting and a bit scary! :)

Fathers Day Weekend

We spent a day in Francesville over Fathers Day weekend. The men golfed and then we had dinner at Mom and Dads. Here is a pic of the kids enjoying Grandma's treats after an exciting round through the sprinklers.

Wedding

The kids and I were privileged to be part of a wedding for a good friend of mine who also babysat our kids (A LOT). Now that she is married and has a real job the babysitting is much less, but she is still special to us.

At rehearsal. Abigail was a doll. Jackson struggled. We didn't realize it at the time but he had a really high fever and awoke the next morning with a severe case of pink eye. :( When I called the nurse the next morning to talk to her about his eye and fever, I explained that he was supposed to be in a wedding that day. To which she replied, "Well of course he is!" My sentiments exactly (sigh).

Needless to say we pressed on and the kids looked ADORABLE. Jackson was a bit emotional but the poor kid had a fever of 102.
